To celebrate the Academy Awards on The Chris Matthews Show, I cut the below parody movie trailer that reenvisions Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney in the lead role of the night's Best Picture, "The Artist". Playfully titled: "Mitt: Better Off Mute," the video was featured at the top of Mike Allen's Politico Playbook, and got some attention from The Huffington Post, New York Magazine, The Village Voice & other outlets.

Much like the perfect silent picture star whose career was thwarted by the emergence of sound in cinema, Mitt Romney has stumbled when he's had to open his mouth, most notably with his famous "the trees are the right height" line, which is featured here and still confounds voters and pundits alike.
