Harding's brief tenure as president was rife with bribery, corruption and possibly murder, all excellent subjects for any political bio. Charles Mee's 1980 novel 'The Ohio Gang,' referred to the "scandal-plagued collection of eccentric characters" with whom the 29th president surrounded himself leading up to the notorious Teapot Dome scandal. No talent other than politically minded producer/director William Rabbe ('Winning New Hampshire') and screenwriter Barbara Turner ('Pollock') have been announced yet.
